Shavonne Joliee Sagcan studied graphic design and illustration and fell in love with photography while working at Kodak in Rochester, NY. In 2008 she relocated to Syracuse and had the opportunity to follow that passion and started photographing families and weddings. She turned to painting during Covid and found relief in the stress of being home through self expression. The paintings she is sharing are the beginnings of her @HOME series where she finds so much comfort listening to music and gazing into the beauty of nature around her. She is fascinated by architecture and inspired by beautiful modern interiors and creates artwork that people love to live with.
